Hi again everyone!
I just wanted to give another update so everyone knows where we're at in the process for LyteLove!

As of right now, we have the script and ui fully implemented, as well as all those fun branches. The voice actors have also received their line and are actively recording! The only things we have left on our list o do for release are to finish implementing all those fun stickers that are sent in chat, implementing the voice lines, and the sprites!

And those sprites are what I wanted to share with you guys! In the original Demo I had ZERO plans for sprites or background art because my art style just isnt what you usually see in Otomes/Dating Sim visual novels. But I worked for quite a while tying to develop a secondary art style for myself on another project and finally landed on a style that made me reconsider that decision. So I've started adding working on sprites and backgrounds for our LIs! Here's a preview of some of Austin's and how they might appear in game. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A MOCKUP. This may not be the final layout for the call screens. 

This feels like a good time to point out that I know the gecko enclosure looks really baren. That's just because I'm lazy. I promise you Austins leopard gecko is so spoiled and well taken care of.


I know this isn't a huge update or anything, but I also know not everyone is on twitter to see my game related posts. I don't even use twitter that much, so I can't blame you. 
That said, I am always looking for extra help on the project to make sure the full game is released as soon as possible, so if you have experience with Renpy and want to help with sticker or voice line implementation into the code, please feel free to reach out! Preferred method is via discord(@xenubin).

Also as a final parting gift, here's a WIP of Elaina's background too (Mostly because the world needs to know she was a victim to the 2014 teal wall trend.) Hers is unfortunately nowhere close to finished because Max realized he could hide a million easter eggs on her bookshelf.
