This may not be seen until after I push the game live, but that said!
I'm super excited about this project, I've been daydreaming and scribbling notes about this for ages, and OtomeJam is the perfect chance for me to get the first act out!

I'm writing this lil devlog to update on some progress and some cool features in game. 

I really wanted this project to be for people like me, those of us (Un)fortunate enough to be a teen online in the 2010s. The internet was a lawless wasteland when you were on there unsupervised, but it had its ups and downs. I made a lot of my best friends online at that age, and wouldn't change it for anything. There's also a LOT of diverse people you'll meet, even if you all share certain common interests. In LyteLove, our LIs and you are bonding over  a semi obscure anime (Which we've decide to name Debt Collectors, its full of himbos and you'll see more of them in ACT 2 hopefully.) 

But despite those common interests bonding you, everyone has a different story. I know when I was first online, those friendships were wild. In good, exciting ways, and bad, borderline traumatizing ways. I really want this story to convey all of that. Which is why each love interest has a completely unique storyline. A lot of their stories will overlap through routes, because we share a lot more of our lives online than we realize in group settings like this. 

Some short spoilers, without naming names, will involve a risk of homelessness due to lifestyles, mental health issues, and more. But it's not going to be all sad, because nobody wants to read a story, or relive all of the worst parts of their formative years. I've got plenty of fun jokes and bits already planned in for the scripts, as well as just some reallly nice happy endings for every route, INCLUDING a fully platonic route for both inclusiveness sake and story completion sake!
